Fishing the DMV: RIP Canoe Tail

Fishing the DMV: RIP Canoe Tail
Her final Resting place

In this Fishing the DMV Podcast Jared Mounts and long-time friend Steve Morris share their canoe adventure mishaps on local rivers over the years.  Jared had his eye on a shiny new Indian River canoe at Sparks Sporting Goods in Martinsburg, West Virginia in the late 90’s.  With a little extra money in the bank, the decision to buy an engagement ring or canoe was weighed as all good decision makers do.  After careful consideration, the green 17-foot canoe was strapped to the top of the pick-up truck!  This canoe served its purpose on many bodies of water including the Potomac River from Damn 4 to Shepherdstown, Sleepy Creek, North Fork of the Shenandoah River, and a handful of trips through the Trough!  Join us to hear about their adventures on the water including the final resting place of the ole Indian River Canoe!  Disclaimer:  All stories shared in this podcast are true and only slightly embellished due to the number of times it has been told.  Eyewitness accounts can confirm most of the details!  One should NOT try to duplicate the events that took place.  Enjoy!
